The best ANC I've ever experienced
Price
The sound seems comparable to over-ear headphones that cost at least twice as much.
After a few hours, they start to hurt and press into my ears
I can't help it, but the 1st generation fitted in my ear better.
It's not necessarily a negative, but for some features, the headphones require the latest version of iOS.

The AirPods 5 surprised me with their great sound and effective ANC, which makes a huge amount of sense for in-ear headphones. The automatic mode switching and conversation detection work absolutely reliably, and for connecting with an iPhone, they're the ideal choice for everyday use.
Great ANC for in-ear headphones.
Excellent, detailed sound and brilliant bass reproduction
Adaptive sound and conversation detection
Comfortable in the ears even when worn all day.
Short battery life on a single charge with ANC on.
