If you plan to buy AirPods Max, ask yourself - how often will I use them and how long will I wear them at a time? I personally wear them for> 5 hours at a time - yesterday I completely removed the magnetic padding and my horror was a handset full of water - there was about 0.75 ml of water in each handset! A few drops the size of a little fingernail. A moment of googling and I found that this is a very common problem if you wear headphones for more than ~ 2-3 hours at a time. It is also very common for so much water to condense in them to damage the headphones. And it is also very common that this damage is not recognized in the claim (12k for headphones, which due to a “manufacturing defect“ survive 3 months and then you can throw them away a lot). In retrospect, I' m extremely happy that I didn' t buy them straight, but for a third, while my AirPods Pro are in complaint, so I' ll definitely return them and look for a more reliable alternative.
