Setting up the connection isn't the simplest for beginners. For example, to connect to fibre optic internet, you have to go into WAN and set up PPPoE, and then you have to go into LAN - IPTV and set the correct VLAN. To name and reserve an IP, you first have to identify and name the individual devices under Network Map via View List, and then under LAN - DHCP Server you can assign the addresses - and each time you can't forget to click Apply, which restarts the router.
In combination with other Asus APs, the connection is made automatically by pressing the 'Add AiMesh Node' button.
Higher WiFi 6 speed compared to the basic version (3000Mbps instead of 1800Mbps)
Supports PPPoE, NAT and VLAN (necessary for connecting to optical internet)
Managing the WiFi and AiMesh is quite simple.
Setting up the WAN and LAN is a bit problematic, related things are done in different places.
It can't automatically measure the connection speed for QoS (other Asus routers can do this)

Considering the price for some 1200, - it makes no sense at all to buy the version without PRO or AX53U (unless USB is needed). It's AX3000, so 5Ghz double bandwidth, Alza has an error in the description.
