What I especially appreciate about this head is that it calibrates itself to the specific valve after installation, so it eliminates what I've read in reviews of other heads that they had to put a coin or some other insert under the head to make the head reach the stem in the valve.
I haven't figured out how to call up the currently set temperature directly on the head. When the button is pressed, the display lights up and shows the current temperature around the head. If you turn the ring, the set temperature is displayed, but at the same time you are overriding it, which you don't want to do if you just want to see how much it is currently heating up. Of course, I can do it via the mobile app, but I don't have to have it handy and it's generally more time consuming.
