For me stomps on JACK LINKS - Original I'll try to add a photo if I can. Suitable for someone who doesn't need those completely dried out meats, but at the same time this consistency is redeemed by a higher sugar content and less protein per gram. However, for me, who cares much about this, the taste is really "basic" for some may be sweeter. I've tasted a lot of jerky that is available on our market and this is definitely one of the ones I will buy again and with gusto. If you don't like softer meats I would give this one a chance I have tried piripiri jerky extensively and it was drier and for me good seasoned, for some it may be saltier, a tribute we are all different.
