It is sufficient as a hobby drill, I would be careful for professional use. I then drilled 500 holes in 6-8mm thick rolled steel with a 5.5mm drill and no problem. The steering wheel is fine for a few holes, but after 2 hours of drilling my shoulder hurts. Wear headphones with your glasses when drilling, it is noisy.
