It is more than sufficient for normal photography and video recording.

Zoom above 10x can only be used in good weather. Otherwise, a tripod is required.
Focusing on wide scenes, landscapes in the gloom. e.g. photographing the illuminated castle from about 300m away was quite a challenge. Tested with multiple focus modes etc.
