Alza Pro is 2.3% heavier, has a nicer texture (although Prestige is ironically called Canon). The Alza Pro has a microscopically worse cut at the edges, which I'm sure someone is wondering about. Print quality of pigment under microscope the same. Whiteness and translucency the same. Highlighter resistance 'markedly' better on Alza Pro (worst on Canon Quality Paper, ironically all against Canon cartridges). But Alza Pro does not offer 2500 pieces.

I was quite disappointed with the paper. I'll pick the most expensive one there is. and it's beautifully white and smooth at first, but it's all melted on. Reminds me of one of those flushable toilet paper rolls. I can't even imagine how you can print ink on it. That must look terrible. I came to this realization after I printed out a coloring book for the kids for watercolors. The water soaks into the paper as if it were a "drinker" and the paper immediately starts to wrinkle and tear. Terrible. Even when colouring with a marker, the paper starts to crease immediately. Purely laser printing is perfectly OK. I compared the paper with Alza Premium paper and "Pioneer special inspiration". The whiteness is about the same as the Alsatian, while the Pioneer has an even higher whiteness ( but the CIE is also 170). But the main difference is in the water absorption, the photo is almost immediately (5-10seconds? ) from a drop and the second after a minute or so. Another minor complaint about the packing - the carrying strap creases the bottom and top paper pack a bit. Nothing terrible, but about 3-5 sheets of the packet had some pretty significant creasing on them.
White, but there are better ones
