We bought the Chipolo as a response to the extended support with the "Find Hub", unfortunately this product does not work, replacement by the manufacturer is not possible and the whole thing is very "shady" with regard to the manufacturer. The app sucks the battery on your phone like a thirsty desert man, it doesn't work when the phone isn't moving but the locator does, and as the icing on the cake it rings you when you're walking with it in your pocket. Of course you would expect it to show up on the map at the point where it currently is, because other phones know there is something like an "air tag" around them but not. It will show you the location +- 5 meters where the phone, which must have had GPS on at the time, last saw the tag in its presence. I don't know about you, but when something is within 5 meters of me, it's usually somewhere with me and I don't want to have to remember who I got the locator from to find the right app and ring my keys that are deep in my backpack. I want to run a common app for all these toys and find it within inches, otherwise there's no point. Overpriced key chain.
