This socket is a simple but very practical solution for home and office networks. The dual CAT5E STP socket allows you to conveniently connect two cables at the same time, which comes in handy where you need multiple devices in one place. The quality of workmanship is good - the RJ45 connectors are firmly seated, the wires hold steady and there is no risk of loosening after plugging. Thanks to the shielding (STP), the signal is protected from electromagnetic interference, which you will appreciate especially in environments with multiple cables or electrical equipment nearby. Installation on the plasterboard is easy - the socket is easy to install and the cover holds firmly, without play. The material is solid, doesn't tear when screwed in and is resistant to normal wear and tear. The only thing you need to pay attention to is the proper termination of the cables - I recommend using quality shielded cables and properly grounding the STP shielding to make the network really stable. For regular gigabit networks, this socket is reliable and functional, easy to install and provides a stable connection for a long time. If you are looking for a simple, robust and affordable plasterboard socket, this option from Datacom is suitable.

The drawer is very high quality, the material is real metal that fits and holds, as well as the plastic is not just such a crinkle. I was very pleasantly surprised by the execution, the overall robustness of the product reminds me of the installation material from the time of our ancestors when things had to last. In the package there is an extra manual that doesn't just make it, but really makes sense. (It didn't have to be on coated paper. )
The downside? Unlike sockets with keystones or self-tapping sockets, this one needs to be crimped with a professional tool (krone), without that it can be plugged in after about half an hour of carefully pulling wires with pliers - my mistake, I should have read more carefully.
But I would buy again even with a cheaper tool, the quality speaks for itself. I think that this socket paradoxically physically lasts much longer than the current generation of Ethernet and I will still be tearing it off the wall as an old man in twenty years as useless.
high quality, solid design
shielding
dowels and screws included
instructions for use
it is not toolless - you need a crown tool or long tapping with pliers
doesn't fit on the installation box, it's really only for plaster
According to the instructions, the wires are supposed to be "screwed" into the socket with KRONE pliers, but it can be done quite easily e.g. also using pointed tweezers and it works well: )
