I was pleasantly surprised by the canvas. I have had experience with a similar screen from AVELI before, just a bit smaller (120"). After the first unpacking, it smelled quite bad for about a week, before some preservative chemistry evaporated from it. But that wouldn't have mattered so much, what was worse was that soon the vertical edges of the canvas started to bend inwards. Not significantly, but the deflection was there and therefore the image was slightly distorted along the left and right edges.
This canvas did not smell at all, and although it is larger, it hangs perfectly straight even after about half a year of hanging in an unpacked position on the wall. On the other hand - the AVELI screen allowed to retract to more positions (two or three), which was useful for me - when watching movies I left the screen higher and when racing on the simulator I retracted it lower to have the "road" more under me. This canvas has only one "latch", so you cannot change the height of its position on the wall.
I bought a canvas for the garage clubhouse: -) and I have created a decent home cinema, I am satisfied with the screen, I don't notice the screen bends. so I'm completely satisfied.
Perfectly covers the upper half of the balcony door and the entire window, usable instead of curtains. Really huge
When I accidentally stumbled on a thin sheet of metal by the edge it bent slightly, it is minimal but a careful eye will notice it.
