I chose this surge protector mainly because of the combination of 8 sockets and a long 3m cable, which is not standard with conventional strips. The design looks solid, the switch has a secure grip and the black colour in the interior (e.g. under the desk at the PC) does not shine as much as the regular white variants. The placement of the sockets is reasonable, although with larger adapters it sometimes takes a bit of planning to fit all eight of them side by side.
