The material is more silicone than rubber. I don't know a better way to describe it. It sticks to the dust, it is overall soft. I would have expected more rigidity. The display cover is also soft overall and through the diagonal "break" of the stand I expected better stability. I bought another cover in the same price range from fixed and compared to this one really noticeably better.
