In fact, I bought this projector because of the price and resolution. And I think there's nothing to regret. The only bug I found is the fan noise at max brightness. The picture is nice and sharp even though it's not sharp 4k. I have it hooked up to my PS5 and it's great for gaming too. The luminosity is sufficient and it doesn't have to be 100% dark. I don't project on a canvas but on a plasterboard wall and I was surprised that even so the picture is really nice. As far as colors go, with games, when the scene was very bright, it didn't have such rich colors (but maybe that's because I don't project on a screen). Otherwise, even the colour saturation is sufficient.

I bought this projector as a replacement for the Epson EH-TW5210 Full HD projector, which is still working perfectly after 5000 hours of use. Which could not be said about my first projector, a DLP from ACER, which developed defective pixels in the image after about 2000 hours of operation and even the rainbow effect was not very pleasant. Compared to my original Epson projector, this one has a sharper, brighter image even when the brightness is set to minimum, it can do HDR, and has more image correction and adjustment options. It's a bit chunkier and can't do 3D with special glasses like the TW5210. I have the projector connected to an Android box and it handles 4K/60Hz and HDR. The noise level could be a little lower, but it's not particularly distracting at standard show volume. Overall, I'm happy with the projector so far and hope it will serve as well and long as its predecessor, which I continue to use at the cottage (still 2500 hours of lamp life left). I can recommend Epson projectors.

4k consumption is better than the old DLP FullHD
For home use, you must reduce the brightness to medium, otherwise the fan is too noisy. But after that, totally fine, the brightness is still sufficient.
