I bought an unboxed one for just under 500, otherwise I wouldn't have paid the full price of 700 for it.
The mouse looks high-quality and expensive, but it's far too light and feels quite cheap when you pick it up, like it should cost about 300 CZK! The side wheel doesn't inspire much confidence and I haven't found a use for it yet, apart from Excel (scrolling sideways).
I have it as an office mouse for my MacBook because the USB hub interferes quite a bit with the mouse dongle. I'm running it via BT and it works OK.
As it says in the description, the side buttons don't work on a Mac, but that doesn't bother me.

I chose the Logitech MX Master 4 as an alternative and I can't say half a word for the price. After a full day of working with it, it still holds up well, both main buttons have pretty smooth clicks. DPI selection really simple - on the side it is signalled by stripes in the number of flashes show how many times you have selected, as well as the battery status after plugging into the network. The side buttons are cool, too. Maybe in the future there could be better sliders, but that's already looking for details. For the price, it's absolutely great. At the same time, there is software to relabel the function of the buttons, so the lack of software is not a big deal. I'd modify the sliders to absolute perfection, put a metal side wheel (a greaseproof one, if you like). Then it would probably be really uncompetitive.
Eternico M500 is a very good mouse in terms of processing and grip. It feels solid in the hand, the materials are nice and the side wheel is an interesting bonus in this price range. But that's where the praise ends. The fundamental problem is the complete absence of software. The manufacturer hides behind "Plug & Play", which is simply not enough for a mouse with so many buttons and a side wheel. What bothers me:

You have to test yourself where it works (e.g. Excel). Blind DPI: You have 6 levels, but the mouse doesn't show you (by color or blinking) what you currently have set. Information: The manual is sparse and lacks clear details on functions and more accurate battery status. The hardware is fine, but Alza didn't add the most important thing - a tool to control it. If you're happy with the basic factory settings, it's a good buy. If you want more from all those buttons, look elsewhere, or be prepared to install foreign programs. For me, the lack of support makes it only half a product.

a big improvement in processing quality and sensing accuracy over the msb550, but at the cost of more noise and less ergonomics. The MSB550 spoiled me with its silence and the way it fit in my hand, and I'll have a harder time with this one. Slightly less inclination and arching compared to its predecessor, reduces the ergonomics of the "semi-vertical" mouse. Not bad, but "something is missing" for 5*
I've had the Msb550 for a few months. A few falls on the ground (baby, cats) and she was gone. Ideal mouse would be MSB550 with M500 chassis. Maybe next time.

overall noisier than the msb550, except for the side buttons, especially the wheel press. The main buttons don't really click, rather they make a muffled hum, but they are not as quiet as their predecessor.
the side buttons should have had more resistance! Or an edge underneath to prevent accidental squeezing. They are the softest and quietest buttons on the mouse. It serves as a Back/Forward step. And you really don't want to press it by mistake while working or filling out a form.
on win10 my side scroll button in excel and browsers didn't respond, in fusion360 it behaves like the front scroll button. It has more resistance and it squeaks a bit when scrolling.
device switching should have been at the top instead of the DPI option when it is promoted as a mouse to multiple devices simultaneously.
Quite heavy and combined with the shape and smooth surface it is less comfortable when moving.
