if you know what you're buying and what you're buying it for, go for it. Just watch out for the memory size. 4K ultra details won't give anymore, but up to 2K is fine. For 4K gaming, definitely buy a GK with 16GB of memory. The backplate is plastic, but that's not surprising for lower-end cards.
