Total satisfaction. At OC Pwr. Limit +25%, Core(MHz) +300, Mem (MHz) +1500 temperatures kept nicely below 70°C. The card in this OC state is beautifully stable, quiet, no coil whine and adds about 10-13 extra FPS. And I think she could do even more. So satisfied.
Power Limit 25% at OC
Quiet in OC
No coil whine during OC (TDP 390-410W)
The card is the perfect size for my Lian Li O11Dynamic EVO RGB case

I wanted a piece of "iron" and this piece is it. the price came down, so I took it. Switching from the 4070Ti a significant increase in fps. I'm satisfied. Who doesn't have the money reaches for AMD graphics, who doesn't want to take nVidia.
I absolutely do not understand the negative reviews of this edition. Gigabyte accuses itself of skimping on the hot conductive gel, but that is actually a more expensive solution. Personally, I have been looking for a long time and have not found a better 5080 under 30 000 CZK. Yes, who only cares about performance, and doesn't need to clock, can certainly buy even cheaper, but then risks high noise etc. I've had a few 5080's myself from both Palit and MSI Ventus and I can't say they are hilarious cards, thus worth the few thousand extra for me. The similarly priced GAINWARD Phoenix GS is one of the noisier cards, although it often costs more. On the other hand, the Gigabyte OC behaves quite comparably to the significantly more expensive ASUS TUF. In Silent mode, one simply doesn't know about the card until 100% load, which is unfortunately rare with the 5080. In addition, the card has the possibility of very decent clocking and does not cost nonsense. Yes, Gigabyte probably saves more on some plastics and maybe RGB (I have no idea, I don't address this), on the other hand it balances it with a 4 year warranty after registration and a slightly lower price within the mid-range of established manufacturers. I definitely recommend it. For me so far, along with RTX 5070 Ti ASUS TUF the best 50xx card when one addresses both noise and temperature, not just performance, and at the same time wants a reasonable price.
robust construction
oversized cooling (minimal noise at temperatures up to 70 °C even at 100% load)
Huge OC potential (realistically up to RTX 4090 on better pieces)
still acceptable price/FPS ratio, unlike RTX 5090
stand in the package
heat conductive gel - more reliable heat dissipation
extended warranty after registration
silent card - in a small load on Silent BIOS it can't be heard, in 100% load still fine acoustics
Difficult to "overgrow" due to the use of gel
the card doesn't have such an attractive design - in this respect it looks more like an "entry level" edition
Switching from the rtx 3080Ti makes sense perhaps only because of the Vram 12 vs 16Gb, if you also have a similar GK wait for the 6000 series and or go for a reasonable new AMD card.
temperatures Vram ok
quiet
good OC
nvidia scam, don't buy the 5000 series
12pin connector-back to the prehistoric times, but the main thing is that it saved money
you will not get the game for free
design not much
argb flashes rather than lights
heat conductive gel instead of thermal pads further investigation
It is quite noisy in the basic setting, but just play around with the fan settings and even overclocked to 2950Mhz it stays at 70 degrees with the fans at 30%, so you don't know about it.
So far I'm very happy with the upgrade from RTX3080. It works well on a PCIe 5.0 board with x870 chipset. The previous card occasionally caused problems. For example. DisplayPort connectors were not working before Windows booted. I.e. I couldn't get into the bios through the DisplayPort.
The three slots I had the card behind the glass vertically but this one and others have three slots and even large cases only have two. There are mounts for three slots but you can't put a sound card in there. Another minus so far is the water block.
Nzxt c1200 táp hipower csatlakozójával egyértelműen érezni, hogy mikor van megfelelően csatlakoztatva
A gigabyte szoftvere egy kicsit kesze-kusza
