I bought the board based on a good experience with the same one I bought two years ago. I wanted to buy a newer one, unfortunately Alza currently only offers this one. I have the board mounted on a stand made of noble wood, without a cover (better cooling) and without any peripherals - everything is integrated on the board, including the PICO power supply. I solve the power supply with a passive 12 V adapter. I find this solution preferable to compact microcomputers of the same performance, which may not have support for HW upgrades and usually have active cooling.
