Others here say he's quiet. I don't agree with that. At low load the fan does not spin, but as soon as you load it a bit, it spins up to 1000RPM and more. So let each person consider what the problem is for them. Personally, I have my system optimized for silence and this was the noisiest component. Additionally, my power supply had a slight coil whine even when idle, but that may be piece by piece. I replaced the Fortron Vita GM 850W, which is currently the same price, is much quieter and has a longer 10 year manufacturer's warranty.
