After a long time I decided to get a phone that is not exactly cheap, but the first experience was absolutely "WAU". I was a little hesitant about whether the combination of a physical SIM and eSIM was the right one, but in the end the eSIM is a seamless solution. The display is very easy to read. 60Hz is not a limitation for normal use (I would be bothered by a TV though). In the beginning I was bothered by the different colour rendering, which is not primarily appealing (like a colouring book).
Above all, the phone is very snappy and doesn't get out of breath. I've had Symbian, Windows Phone, Android One 2x and this, in conjunction with Android 13, is really how I imagine a smartphone to work. For me, the long SW support is essential (3+5 years since the launch, i.e. by 2025 +2027). Slower charging is not limiting for me - I usually charge overnight with a 4W charger (reducing battery degradation) + adaptive charging (charges to 80% and the remaining 20% before the alarm). Fast charging in this case means max 18W, which usually means 50% (30 -> 80%) in less than an hour and thus more than 24h of operation. As a former user of an ASP-C DSLR and now an ASP-C mirrorless camera, I am pleasantly surprised by what the camera can do, even in (semi) automatic post-processing. Due to the protruding camera module, I recommend purchasing the appropriate case.
The strange thing is the mute button above the volume control cradle - it takes a little time to get used to. Also, the in-display reader requires a slightly different approach than I was used to with the reader on the back of the phone. Despite these small things, however, I recommend the purchase at this price level.
