vibrace
blokování určitých funkcí podle lokality
tendence Googlu občas měnit věci, které není nutné měnit
aktualizace nedostává každý uživatel najednou, namísto toho člověk aktualizaci dostane klidně pár týdnů po oznámení, což dokáže naštvat

A very well-tuned phone with long support and a great camera - that's the Pixel 8 Pro. Pure Android with seven years of support is one of the main attractions that makes Pixel a competitor. Well, except Samsung, it already offers it too and One UI is also very smart. The camera can take nice photos and the results are flawless in almost every condition. It's not the best zoom, nor the best night camera, but the results are absolutely consistent and the photo rarely blurs. The noise is also very subtle, especially compared to the Samsungs. A bit disappointingly slower charging, especially compared to Chinese brands. That phone is huge. Flat display without curvature and not exactly neglected thickness (ideally still in the packaging) makes it quite a gallop.
The absence of an ultrasonic fingerprint reader is disappointing, but the contactless thermometer is interesting.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the Pixel 8 Pro, especially since it has been made cheaper thanks to the launch of its successor. The blue is also awesome and does not appear in the next generation.
Fast and debugged environment
Very nice display
Quality camera
Long support
Blue is good
Slower recharging
Large phone (thanks to the curve-free display)
Optical fingerprint reader only
Buy 256GB instead

So far I'm thrilled
The first thing that struck me was the metal back, just a premium look. It takes beautiful photos including night photos, clear display even in bright sunlight, responds to every task very quickly. Premium mobile as it should be
nothing so far, maybe just a bit more heat in summer temperatures, but nothing above the norm .

Compared to online reviews that predict terrible battery life, disappearing signal or lousy performance, the reality is completely different. After switching from the Samsung Galaxy S21, the battery life is the same, maybe even better. The poorer processor performance is only noticeable when taking multiple portrait photos in quick succession, in normal use it is not noticeable at all. And as far as signal is concerned, compared to the Samsung Galaxy S23 on the go, the Samsung loses signal quite often and even the 2G signal doesn't catch much. While the Pixel holds very steady at 5G, or 4G in more remote locations. It's definitely not a phone for everyone, it is on the larger side after all. But the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
Camera
Signal strength and stability, at least against the Samsung Galaxy S23
Speakers
Display, whether maximum or minimum brightness
Speed of SW updates
AI features in camera and elsewhere (Circle to Search, Now Playing)
Frosted glass back
Power button above the volume buttons
Glossy visor with cameras, collects fingerprints quickly
It's less compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Watch, but that's more of a minus for Samsung
It can slow down and heat up a bit during more demanding tasks, especially when shooting

From my point of view, the battery life is not nearly as bad as the reviews agree
Surprisingly good transfer of apps and data from a competitor's previous phone
The notorious advantages that made me buy it (camera except for the embarrassing AI spell results, big luxurious display, fast response. )
even with a 2-year-old model I did not expect a totally dead battery, the phone went on after 5 minutes of fast charging, we will see what the consequences on battery life will be
the sales culture is declining. The standard white hard box isn't covered with foil (worth a few pennies), so in the box it was grubby from shipping, secured with tacky stickers until I was scared I was getting used goods. I was calmed down after watching a couple of videos "Unboxing. " on YouTube. I would have imagined the sale of a "flagship" differently, a tarnished first impression is hard to remedy

For the money I thought it would be better and more stable than the products of Chinese manufacturers, but it disappointed. The only thing I can highlight is the camera, which takes beautiful pictures. I must have a defective piece, because some apps crash right after launching. These are the various connections to the oi. share, qfile - filing system from qnap, bluetooth disconnects, then google cast doesn't find anything nearby.
The camera shoots beautifully
System response
Google services
Several applications like qnap Qfile, OI are not working. Olympus share, no cast, no mirroring, no Google share. All apps are blind and can't see anything in the environment.
Disconnects bluetooth devices such as watches, speakers, headphones
