I upgraded from a samsung A40 almost 6 years old. I bought it because of the promised long-term software support and Graphene OS support. I deleted the original spyware operating system from google right out of the box - it doesn't run any useful programs or background tracking, which means it only drains maybe two percent overnight. Installation of graphene seamless. It's a little more expensive but hopefully it will last me longer than the samsung.

I have another Android 16 on some Realm. Look, there's no comparison. A Chinaman wouldn't dare do such a thing. Pixel is a complete disaster. It should have a better display on paper, but it is practically identical in size. After unpacking only updates - 6G, each update something stopped working and something was fixed, but the resulting 'usability' unfortunately did not change. But what is a complete mockery is the desktop mod. Jesus. it can't be compared to the Mate 20pro at all. many applications are falling apart, the desktop is an imitation. completely unusable. I really use the desktop mod (actually, even now), but the Pixel version - it's not possible even with the best will.

I've had it for about a week, switching from the Poco M3 Pro, which at the time cost ~6000 CZK, so I can compare. Compared to the much lower-priced, year-old Poco M3 Pro, it has a worse sounding large speaker and a slower fingerprint reader - by being in the display, the display has to activate first and then it takes a long time to load the fingerprint.
