Then you try to take the hot kettle off its base so you don't get an electric shock. A dangerous product. Even after I pointed out that I wanted a refund because the product is dangerous, my complaint was immediately resolved by a like-for-like replacement. We'll see how long the second one lasts - in any case, if the same fault occurs again, I'll be taking it up with the CTIA (I notified Alza of this during my conversation with their chatbot), because in my opinion, it's a really dangerous defect and the product shouldn't be sold.
