Good price, good product. You buy it, press a few buttons, pair it and it works. Adding it to Alexa in two clicks is also nice. But the controls are overengineered. There's no simple on/off, you have to set a watering time. Pairing with Alexa works, but turning it on/off again requires a time investment and I haven't figured out how to turn it on with just my voice after pairing, only manually in the app. After setting up scenes in the manufacturer's app, it seems to work. The app also has a weather forecast and can adjust the watering accordingly. The only snag is that it only has an internet rain forecast from an unknown model, so this smart feature is rather unusable - but it's there!
Look, in general, if you want a smart Wi-Fi hose controller for under a grand and aren't afraid to sacrifice a bit of time, then it's probably fine. The price-to-performance ratio is superb. Oh, and when installing, you're better off leaving your pipe wrench in the workshop, or be really careful ;)
