the bottle is made of stainless steel only, therefore less prone to odour
opening and closing for a seven year old ok, not yet for a two year old ( it takes a bit of strength)
the bottle itself doesn't leak in the briefcase, but.
as already written here, there is a small hole by the drinker, from which it flows when the bottle is tilted to drink. This is really ill-conceived. The older one is already careful of the tilt, but the smaller one always spills it.
No insulation, as soon as you pour hot tea into it the bottle gets hot as a nickel. Logically, the temperature of the beverage has no chance to be maintained and the hot tea becomes iced tea in an hour at low temperatures.
