It's not a well-designed product. The attachment to the gamepad is solved by self-locking plastic, but it is inflexible and fragile. It's very much on a knob, so tapping it in there smacks of at least scuffing the gamepad, maybe even other damage. It also covers the back button that is needed to pair, so it forces you to constantly take the holder off.
Even worse is the attachment of the mobile phone, where the bottom side is not a stop and the spring pressure is not enough and at the slightest shock the mobile jumps out. I couldn't fit him in the cover, he kept slipping out without it.
