Would I upgrade from an iPhone 13 Pro had I known how laggy iOS 26 still is even on such a new phone ? Probably not, I would wait maybe one more year for improved software, stay on iOS 18.7 and upgrade already with the iPhone 18 Pro Max when they have improved the software/hardware issues. One thing that did help me though a lot is the battery, it really keeps all day, sometimes I can use the phone for 30-60 mins after charging and it still stays at full capacity, my biggest fear from my older phone is how I lose 5% battery in the first few minutes of use.
