I' m glad I paid extra for the WiFi version. It plays better via Chromecast, the connection is automatic and easier. It has a slightly larger woofer than the standard version. Overall an excellent yet small portable and durable speaker.

I tried Harman Kardon Citation 200 (quite a bass profile, unbalanced sound), Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A1 2nd Gen (very precise sound, but not powerful, more suitable for jazz, bass component is missing), Sonos ERA300 (failed to connect directly to YouTube Music, I had to play through their app with rather annoying controls). Everyone could do something different, but JBL ultimately won it, even though everyone' s sound is different.
