There is no need for any encryption software on the device to which the DT2000 is connected. When unlocked with the keypad code, it looks like a normal USB flash drive
I've had one for a very long time and with absolutely no problems, now I've added three more in the sale.
Of the five or so encrypted flash drives I have gotten my hands on, I rate this one as clearly the best.
Think carefully about what you really need to encrypt, what the volume of data is and what it will be in a certain timeframe. In my case, the 32GB and 64GB capacity makes sense, but you might be fine with a much smaller capacity for encrypting a few personal documents and emails.
The price in the sale was missed, but the normal price should be lower, not only on Alza, but in general.
