I was used to drinking Jacobs Velvet, but during pregnancy the caffeine started to make me sick, so I was looking for a caffeine-free substitute. Nescafé Dekaf tasted very similar, almost the same, but after finishing it I always had an unpleasant aftertaste on my tongue. I have tried Lor and the taste seems to me also very similar to Velvetca, probably a little better than Nescafe, but it does not cause an aftertaste on the tongue. The downside is the pixly cap - it seals nicely, but it's awfully hard to open and we've spilled coffee on the counter or on the floor several times. It's a pity that I didn't discover decaffeinated coffee sooner - it helps me with pregnancy (it satisfies my coffee craving and doesn't make me sick), my husband with IBD (it's better for his gut).
