I have intentionally listed the advanced settings as a plus as well as a minus. In the beginning, it is quite difficult for a person without experience with microtics to set up more advanced features. There are preset options, but e. g. in bridge mode I lost any communication with the router and had to perform a hard reset. However, despite the labor pains, I am glad to have such extensive setting options.
I must mention that for normal use as a router + AP, the setup is very simple. The difference, however, is that e. g. with the previous Asus, I had fewer advanced setup options, but the ones there were clearer.
Despite my initial ignorance, I am excited. To set up the router you need Winbox software directly from the manufacturer. The router also provides a simplified configuration option, which I think everyone can handle. For connoisseurs, it contains more complex settings. The huge advantage is the absolute stability and speed of the device, powerful internal HW and quality construction.
I've had the same router in 3 places and no problem.

It's an unusual setup, it's different than other routers and you have to learn how to use it. Once you know how to do it, there's no problem.
The main advantages of this model are 1) that it supports the ZEROTIER cloud platform, in other words it is a solution that can be used to access the home site from anywhere on the Internet without the need to have a fixed ip address from the provider or a very complicated IP VPN tunnel setup
Totally awesome router even for the less skilled. There is a quick set option but it is more for people who understand it at least a little. If it had a slightly faster USB, it would probably be a dream: -) I am writing the review after a couple of weeks so it is already tested.
