I switched to Nothing Phone 2a from Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and it's a different league, I have no regrets towards Nothing and the less than two months I've been using it works without a problem.
The phone has a super playful design, but that' s a matter of opinion. It suits me personally. The processor performance is sufficient for normal use, I did not notice any stuttering even when multitasking between four applications at once. I' m using the 12gb ram version and that' s really enough. The Glyph interface is nice, but it can' t really do much, maybe some innovation will come from third parties and the lights will be able to be used better. The battery lasts two days with 3+ hours of screen time per day. The size of the display is comparable to the iphone pro max, which is nice, and the display is also great, even in the sun. So the adaptive frequency switching is not managed, the phone almost always goes to 120hz when idle, and in most applications it is only 90hz. Cameras are the only thing I could afford to pay extra for, but in good light they can be used without a problem. And the fact that the phone is made of plastic is a nice change from metal/glass phones, especially in terms of the phone' s weight. I would allow myself one more complaint, I don' t understand why no Nothing phone supports e-sim, only two physical sim cards, it' s nothing that can' t be solved, but it' s a shame. And as a last fingerprint it works great.
