It is a relatively underpowered RAM from today's perspective, but a great choice for my roughly 6 year old (then slightly better gaming) build. It works exactly as expected and without any problems, basically the RAM just needed to be replaced and the BIOS updated. (For new RAM for older PCs you _always_ need to read the motherboard documentation, in my case https://www.gigabyte.cz/motherboards/Z370P-D3-rev-10/Specification)
The installation of the RAM itself is simple. It can be more complicated if a BIOS update is needed.
When selecting RAM, you need to have some knowledge of HW component compatibility and, most importantly, be able to search for relevant manuals (BIOS! ), read them carefully and arrange yourself according to them. Otherwise, even as a layman, I had no problem.
