I bought a Philips steam generator 2 months ago and I am very unhappy with it. I iron a lot of laundry at once, and this steam generator has all the bad qualities that only make ironing longer. I decided to use it because of the large water tank, so I can iron a big pile of laundry without a break and I never thought it would take "breaks" - during the ironing of 1 shirt, it takes three 30-second breaks when it is not heating up and no steam is coming out 🤷♀️
And this waiting prolongs the ironing several times.
The iron has a "Turbo Steam" function but it doesn't actually produce more steam at all!
Before buying this product, I had used three different Philips irons and a competitor brand steam generator and was 100% satisfied, so I was convinced it was a defective piece and sent it in for warranty. But they didn't acknowledge the complaint saying everything is fine. but the steam generator behaves the same- so these are the real features of this product: -(
