I really don't recommend this lamp. The instructions for assembling the top are missing from the manual, you'll have to figure it out on your own. The glass is fixed to the top with sheets that have sharp edges. Even with the greatest care, you cannot avoid scratching the matt layer on the glass during assembly. The top bulb burst after about two months. The lamp is quite unstable and sways.
But what's worse, if the lamp is plugged into the mains and the top light is not turned on at full power (resp. if it is off or dimmed), the lamp buzzes. And it's so loud that if it's quiet and still, you can hear it across the room.
The lamp came scratched in several places, it was obvious that someone had already folded it before us, although it was supposed to be new. Some parts of the lamp, which were already assembled by the manufacturer, did not fit. I would definitely not buy again!
