First of all, the haptic response is the biggest attraction of these headphones for me. It's a level of immersion in the storyline that I didn't think I needed until I tried them. The sound is on par with my SteelSeries Arctis Pro, but I'm no audiophile so I can't discern the nuances that some people might. I had the Maxwell Audeze and I didn't think they were that much better than these headphones or the SteelSeries, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. The comfort of this headset is comparable to the SteelSeries and much better than the Maxwell Pro. Rather, I'd say they sit more firmly on my head than the SteelSeries, which felt like they would fall off when I tilted my head forward. The weight is just right, they are not as heavy as the Maxwell, but still heavier than the SteelSeries Nova. Another selling point for me is a DAC that also has an AUX input, so I can connect my SSL 2+ MKII to the DAC and monitor my Midas Legend 500 series box that hosts my 500 series signal chain from a studio microphone, and I can route audio through Ableton to several separate audio inputs/outputs without having to use a Voicemeeter to route the signal to headphones. I would say that the software that can be installed with these Razer headsets is a bit annoying due to having to install 2 programs: Razer, which has Razer Chroma for RGB control, and Razer Synapse, which actually lets you control the equalizer, haptics, and other settings of the headset, and then there's Razer Central, which incorporates both Razer Central and Razer Cortex. I'm tired of explaining the software. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this headset. I have seen many negative reviews on this headset, but from my personal experience they are exactly what I was looking for as a replacement for my SteelSeries Arctis Nova headset. The only downside is that there aren't many replacement earpieces from other manufacturers, such as those from Wicked, that could make the comfort even better. If you ask me, this headset is perfect for gaming and watching movies, mainly because of the haptics. If you're not interested in haptics, I'd recommend reaching for the SteelSeries Arctis Pro or Maxwell Audeze, but in no way are they so much better that they're a clear choice over these.

The software is not unified. I have to install two separate programs that are also split into two more. The price is a bit high

Stylish packaging as is usual with Ryzer. The setup is very simple, intuitive. The headphones have a great sound, they do not press on the head, they sit comfortably. I have nothing to complain about. I got what I wanted.

The price, but with Razer you have to take it into account.
