As it was written here, it also fits a hair dryer with a diameter of 5.5 cm. The attachment is quite deep and conical, so my hairdryer fits into it at 5cm deep and holds well, it didn't fall out when I was using it. I can imagine that when I go on holiday, I'll just take the diffuser with me and put it on the hairdryer in the hotel. The diameter of the diffuser is about 14 cm (the photo is distorted).
