It lights up well, but gets pretty hot. I measured 84˚C on the white strip between the contacts and the glowing parts. The meter was uncalibrated, so it may be a degree off, but the LED gets pretty hot. The consumption of the light bulb _decreases_ with increasing consumption, so they have a treated state where the resistance of a heated LED decreases, and when a voltage source is used, on the contrary, the consumption rises and damage may occur. When it comes to application in places where a higher temperature does not matter, I definitely recommend it.
