I've had the exact same one for the last 5 years, so I picked up the same one when it was still available and tried and tested. But the new one was half the price and it's also a little smaller, but that doesn't affect the functionality, it blows and spins the same.
For me satisfaction, it is a simple curling iron with 2 levels of blowing intensity (lower is enough), cool air, non-rotating. It will make a rich hairstyle and at the same time smooth the hair nicely. My hair is shoulder length, but I've had longer ones and that worked too.
I don't understand the positive reviews. I used to have a curling iron, but it had a detachable attachment that fell out when blowing. That's why I later switched to a classic blow dryer and a round brush, but otherwise I was happy with my curling iron at the time. Because my hair dryer started overheating and shutting off while blow-drying, I decided to try the curling iron again and the result was a complete disaster (or at least much worse than with the hair dryer + brush combination and I got a brush for about 100 CZK, no special one). The hair was frizzy after blow drying and overheated during the blow dry. The whole blow drying process took exactly the same amount of time as with a conventional blow dryer. Really disappointing.
