If you have two dogs at home, you know that fighting hair and constant cleaning is a never-ending process. I got the Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Pro primarily to save time and I have to say it's one of the best investments I've made in my home.
First impression and design
Out of the box, I was surprised by the size of the dock at first glance, but my fears were unnecessary. Thanks to its good design, it fits perfectly into my kitchen among other appliances and looks natural there. Installation was lightning fast and very intuitive - a big plus is that the app is completely in Czech and the vacuum cleaner itself even speaks to me in Czech.
Cleaning in practice: Speed and intelligence
The biggest advantage for me is speed. My three-bedroom apartment can be cleaned before I can walk the dogs. The whole process is completely carefree:
- Navigation and obstacles: The vacuum cleaner handles cables on the floor and even crosses lower thresholds without any problems. The pet recognition works great too - I simply set up no-pet zones around the bowls in the app, so the vacuum safely avoids them.
- Surface recognition: It's very clever at detection - it automatically knows when it's moving from floor to carpet and adjusts the power accordingly.
Mopping and maintenance: Total comfort
A cool feature is the automatic mop wash and dry, which saves me a lot of work. I can also set the mopping intensity directly in the app, which is great depending on how much the floor needs mopping.
Even though the vacuum cleaner is very self-contained, it still requires some care:
- I regularly pour out dirty water after mopping and if I'm just vacuuming, I pour out clean water to keep it fresh.
- I also wash and wipe down the mop stand once a week.
- I haven't had to change the dust bag yet - its filling is of course individual, but so far the vacuum cleaner doesn't limit me in this respect.
Conclusion
The vacuum does a very decent job and combined with the fact that I don't have to take care of it every day, it's a huge relief for me. If you're looking for a reliable partner to free your hands from everyday vacuuming, the Qrevo Edge 2 Pro won't let you down.
