All in all, I have very mixed feelings following the switch from QRevoMaxV. Saros was purchased because of the need that had arisen to cross thresholds. The first few runs were absolute hell; I’m used to a model with lidar providing perfect mapping first time round, but here it seems to me that the vacuum cleaner is constantly fine-tuning and changing the map, even after a week’s use – which, incidentally, keeps overwriting the routines you’ve already set – without any notification; the robot simply won’t clean, and you have to proactively investigate why – you’ll find that a minor change to the map has invalidated all the schedules, and you have to set them up all over again. That's great. During its first few runs, it doesn’t deal with the thresholds at all and won’t engage the necessary hardware until it has properly struggled with the thresholds or ‘hit a few snags’ with them. The threshold-crossing algorithm is not fully developed; it seems the robot has roughly four different ‘strategies’ for crossing thresholds, with one being suitable for my thresholds in one direction and another in the opposite direction. However, the robot is unable to store the necessary ‘strategy’ for a given threshold in its map; instead, it constantly tries different ways of getting over it at random, with unsuccessful attempts taking a long time and, what’s more, being extremely noisy – to the neighbours, it sounds like a drill. It probably doesn’t do Prague any harm, but you really don’t want to watch or listen to it. I sorted it out by sticking transparent anti-slip tape to the sills, so at least you won’t mistake your failed attempts for the sound of a drill. I’m hoping for a firmware update that will sort this out – unfortunately, I don’t have much faith in software support for existing models (even the flagship ones) in this segment. Compared to the QRevoMaxV, the water reservoirs are definitely half the size. In my experience, it only lasts for 1.5 cleanings, which is a nuisance. I’ll have to reduce the amount of water I use so that it lasts at least two days – yet another compromise. Fortunately, I bought it at a substantial discount during a sale; unfortunately, the ‘technology’ for climbing kerbs is relatively new and the alternatives are very limited. Only buy this if you specifically need to drive over kerbs; otherwise, this model is a complete waste of money.
Cleaning performance is on a par with Roborock’s flagship models; the rotating mops are brilliant
anti-tangle brushes
automatic dispensing of cleaning agent
easy dock maintenance
an underdeveloped and extremely noisy threshold-crossing algorithm (morning/night-time cleaning whilst you’re asleep is completely unrealistic, even though the robot is quiet when set to the lowest power setting)
Initial mapping is a nightmare, but navigation is relatively fine even without lidar – though it keeps overwriting the preset routes
The water tanks are unnecessarily small; you’ll need to use less water when cleaning or top them up with fresh water every day
a high full price that does not reflect the value

I'm moving from a Roborock s7. They're really different worlds. Both in terms of vacuum cleaner functions and docking station. Now I can let the vacuum cleaner into rooms that I have not cleaned and the vacuum cleaner will not get stuck on a toy that it would suck. At the same time, we can really talk about mopping up. The evidence is the dirty water in the docking station. for me maximum satisfaction. And yes, it's an expensive toy, but the time savings are huge.

silent
object recognition
smart room recognition - it immediately offered me a map with the prescribed room names - this is also related to the automatically set options for mopping or vacuuming power just according to the room
putting the mop down by the carpets
sucks what the Dreame X40 couldn't handle - the higher suction power is noticeable
well designed maintenance - water containers and the bottom container for mop washing (I take it with me and wash it) - with Dreame X40 it was hell to get and kneel at the station directly

Our several times Roborock, always great satisfaction. This is where I appreciate the threshold crossing the most - until now we had to solve the previous models with a ramp.
crosses thresholds perfectly
low profile - fits under furniture (under 8 cm)
quiet when vacuuming
very wide range of settings in the app (more options than previous models, e.g. definition of curtains, where the robot runs through them and vacuums/cleans behind them)
application in Czech, robot speaks Czech
can "stow" the wiping discs in vacuum mode
fast charging
voice control is not in English
