It is a photoelectric smoke sensor, which is also sensitive to vapour from vape devices (ecigarettes).
Adding it to the app is quite unintuitive compared to other Shelly devices, probably because the sensor is disconnected to save battery. It will connect only in case of detection. To connect you need to press the button 3 times, but after the FW upgrade I had to remove the battery.
After activating BLE, it is permanently available (probably).
