An excellent lens for portrait shots in nature and slower scenes. With a good body and good focus, it can capture birds in flight, but lacks a little more light. That brings us to optics that are an order of magnitude more expensive. Sharpness is good, if not very good, chromatic aberrations are tolerable at open aperture and distortions are nicely dealt with by the body. Especially when found with a price tag of around 15k, this is an excellent buy that hardly anyone can regret and it noticeably exceeds the quality of standard 55-210 optics and can give a fair fight to pilot pieces. I have no problems with it on the A6700 body and shooting with the maximum focal length is literally fun with stabilization and IBIS.
