These were headphones I was looking forward to, as I had the previous generation. In my opinion, they have a lot of weaknesses. The controls can't be configured, so you're forced to have useful functions combined with useless ones. Adjusting the volume by tapping the right earbud five times and the left one five times is a real joke. I had the chance to compare the ANC with headphones for a Lenovo PC that cost 1,300, and the Sony ones lost completely. The sound and music are fine, but only when I push the earbud somewhere into my brain, and even then, it's still no miracle. Overall, after a year, I'm left feeling frustrated that Sony really didn't get this right, and I will definitely try something else next time.

For a flagship product at this price, I expected a top-notch sound experience, but I was met with huge disappointment. The sound is incredibly tinny and sounds like it's coming from very cheap speakers. When listening to mid-range frequencies, especially male vocals and more prominent drums, there's a strong resonance and an unpleasant buzzing. As someone who is actively involved in music and singing, I heard this distortion and sound clipping immediately. I even had two different colour variants of this model available, and both suffered from the exact same fatal flaw. So, it's not a single faulty unit but apparently a systemic error in the entire series or in the sound processing directly from the manufacturer. In terms of sound, these headphones unfortunately lose out even to ordinary earbuds that cost a few hundred. I returned the goods straight away and absolutely do not recommend this product.
