A great solution for managing and backing up family data. Now the chaos of photos from all the family phones and computers is finally tamed. Everything is automatically moved to one place/device, sorted into folders. All this configured very easily thanks to the great interface and documentation.
The capacity of 2+2 TB is enough for family data. However, if you are trying to make a home copy of the entire internet with all fullHD movies, get a larger HDD and ideally a 4 slot one.
Basically, Synology's solution has completely replaced the Google services (except for email).
