I was picking out a new potato peeler, and of the 6 peelers I tested, this one worked very well, even though it is objectively clunky (I have small hands). I bought it for larger potatoes, it scrapes really well (practically all other scrapers were dull compared to this one).
very sharp, it scrapes almost by itself
blade cover
holds up well
especially good for large potatoes (it has a longer blade compared to other peelers, so it's ready right away)
movable blade (I prefer it to a fixed blade)
looks good
unnecessarily clumsy, not ideal for smaller hands.
smaller potatoes didn't scrape as well, but that's probably due to the longer blade.
A little bigger, but it holds perfectly and scratches like a wild one. I've taken that I've generally had great experiences with the ingenio line and it wasn't wrong here either. Compared to the victorinox, which was admittedly a bit cheaper, it's like heaven and smoke.
