Homemade ham is delicious. A good buy from that point of view. I cook in a pot with an internal height of 16cm - the highest we have. Just enough. For a good result you need to keep about 1kg of meat, which is quite a lot for a family, you can't make half a batch. I cook without a bag because I don't want to eat microplastics. The ham is cooked well, but the walls are covered with meat residue and washing is a punishment. This is because the material is rough from the inside of the press. The outside is beautifully polished, there just need to rinse. Inside, it's a gross horror. I wouldn't buy the same one again, I would look for another one with a smooth interior.
