There is no point in repeating what has already been written in other reviews. I knew what I was buying, and I am extremely satisfied. Only if you have it far away from the socket, I would recommend to buy an extension cable (the cable is a little over 150 cm with the connector (which is surprisingly not "L" shaped and is the same side as the USB connector. The USB cable measures just over a metre, which should be enough to go anywhere. I definitely don't recommend extending the USB cable, because any extension will slow down the transfer, which is otherwise super fast. Although you can physically connect a 2.5″ drive, I didn't want to violate the warranty by plugging it in.
