Any USB drive or even just a regular flash drive is constantly connecting and disconnecting, unchecking "power off device to save power" in the device manager in the USB controller driver did not help. Therefore, the product was returned (no refund) and i-tec USB-C hub was chosen (no sound system, only 4x USB 3.0), which works fine.
