Created for day and night
Inspiration doesn't just strike you at the most ideal time of day. It can strike at any time. That's why you need a camera that is ready to capture any moment and under any circumstances. Due to its variable aperture, the Dual 12Mpx Galaxy S9 camera with optical stabilisation is just such a tool. Its widescreen lens intelligently switches between f/2.4 brightness values for good-light photography and f/1.5 for sharp shots even in the middle of the night. It simply changes its size depending on the amount of light just as the human eye does. Of course, it also responds to your voice commands and you can even choose the aperture manually. Whichever method you choose, you can be sure that your pictures will have the right parameters and the highest possible quality day and night.
The charm of an endless moment
Joy and shock on the faces of friends. Master skateboard trick. The bursting of an inflated balloon. Flapping insects wings. Movements that last less than a moment are countless. But the Galaxy S9 + can capture them all. Even the most flashy moment you can record to enjoy it in all its beauty. Super-slowed video at 960 frames per second captures the moment well, the result is a long-lasting video full of detail. You can use both auto-start recording for fast motion detection and the ability to record up to 20 slow-motion segments when shooting manually.
Turn your selfie into emoji
Extend the surrounding reality with a cheerful personalised emoji of you. From your selfie you can easily create animated emojis that track your movements, as well as various labels for even more fun whilst chatting with your friends. Simply shoot the front camera, create your 3D avatar and adjust its appearance - and it is only up to you whether you do it according to the truth or the current mood. The created AR emoji will then be used exactly as other graphic elements in different communication applications. With the difference that they will be truly unique. They are literally yours.

Because of this you will enjoy a much richer sound than you have ever had with your mobile phone.
You understand the world
Bonjour! How are you? Auf Wiedersehen! You can learn the basic phrases of the most widely used European languages. But what about the more exotic alphabets of the distant corners of the planet? With Samsung's newest mobile phone, you will not be in trouble there either. The Galaxy S9 is an integrated virtual assistant named Bixby, including real-time automatic translation. Simply point the camera towards what you do not understand, and Bixby will translate it.
Six keys to your phone
Iris scanner. Face Recognition. Fingerprint Scanner. Pattern lock. Password lock. Numeric PIN. Choose the security option that suits you the most. The intelligent face identification system also uses the iris scanner to make your phone even more secure. This allows your Galaxy to unlock even in the worst light. As far as the fingerprint reader goes, you will appreciate its new location on the back of the phone that allows you to reach it without any problem.
Meet the Samsung ecosystem
Discover a much more connected world with Samsung products. The Galaxy S9 is the perfect tool to get online and stay connected, but if you use your Samsung account, you will find even more and easier ways to synchronise your content across all of your devices. Videos and pictures taken with the revolutionary Galaxy S9 can easily be displayed on your Samsung Tablet, Phone, and TV screen.
Every look is unique
With Samsung's Galaxy smartphones, you have become accustomed to the first-class Infinity display that extends to both sides of the device, and the newest addition is no exception. The Samsung Galaxy S9 boasts a Super AMOLED screen with 6.2-inch Quad HD + resolution. The screen occupies 84.2% of the front of the phone, and yet the iris scanner is still hidden within minimalist design of the upper frame.
An office in your pocket
The Galaxy S9 is both a phone and a touchpad at the same time. The touch screen will change when placed on a DeX Pad (sold separately). This allows you to easily connect your monitor to your smartphone and use it like a desktop comparable to a normal desktop computer. Enjoy popular applications and multimedia content on a connected screen without having to take a notebook with you on a business trip or vacation. With the Galaxy S9 and DeX Pad, you can create your own studio from virtually any display.
